What is a Stealth Agent? What is an A-List Agent?

First, Stealth Agents:

My agent was/is a stealth agent. She was/is an A-lister in hiding. You will run across these in your search. Oh, God, you say. That's a whole new kettle of fish. Real short: in most cases, a stealth agent does not have a website, Twitter feed, FB account--NONE of it. No footprint. They might only be registered in a few online media listings, like Agent Query, and there you will find almost nothing…

INTRODUCTION

My name is David Weller and I write fiction for YA and Upper MG readers.

My first completed novel is kept safely under lock and key to avoid tarnishing my reputation. My second, Truthseeker, was written for readers at the younger end of the YA scale. It is complete at 75K and I'm trying to find it a home. The full MS is currently under consideration by an agent in London. My third novel, Secret of Heathcote Manor, is aimed at an Upper MG readership and the first draft is well…

Most Inspirational Traditional Indian Art Created By Distinguished Indian Artists

Indian paintings have a very long folklore and antiquity in Indian art. The first Indian paintings that came into being and were widely known were rock paintings of antediluvian eras. Moreover, with the passage of time art has certainly transformed to a great extent.

Whether we look at cave art, Ajanta and Ellora murals and the miniature chefs-d'oeuvre of Mughal, Rajput and hill schools of traditional Indian art, India art has…

Student Attitude - Part I

NEW-ATTITUDE I've written about attitude before, but February's theme was attitude and I thought I'd share some of my students' thoughts on attitude. (Actually, for testing, each student is required to write at least a one page essay on the theme of the month.)

Abigail

To me, attitude means the feeling with which a person does tings, and it is these feelings that affect every aspect of not only the person's actions, but everything around them as well.

First is…

It's A Debatable 2016

                                      Written By: R. F. Husnik

It was another super-duper Tuesday, and of course both the writer’s friends and enemies had previously demanded his “take” on where the political situation in America was “at” just now. So, to answer them, he’d begun by penning a nonsense paragraph which had used all the candidate’s last names in jest. But after he’d read what he’d written, although he’d…

Focus

Focus In my taekwondo classes, we emphasize the aspect of focus when learning a technique. Focus on stances. Focus on hand position. We also discuss a broader perspective of focusing on whatever goals have been set.

There is so much to this theme it's difficult to just stay with one point.

When I'm competing in tournaments, I've learned to focus on my performance. I don't look at the judges, except when bowing in and accepting my score. When I start my form, I focus on a…

Twist in Time ?

As I stand here in front of my closet , starring into space...

I wonder which black dress to wear, and how I am going to face..

All the guests that will be there, at your final resting place...

I look in the mirror and what do I see ?

But cuts and bruises all over me...

Although I don’t feel any physical pain...

Oh, what’s that I hear ?... could it possibly be rain ?

I miss you already...just what went wrong ?..

We were driving along ,…

Excerpt from "Voodoo" (coming in 2017)

Chapter 1

The Bridge

By the time I was finally able to get up off the floor, I was still disorientated. The pool of vomit I was laying in smelled like sour milk and bile and the pain was slowly creeping into the elbow I landed on when I blacked out.

I staggered to the bathroom to get a something to clean myself up with. When I caught my…

Paranormal Romance - Not Just for Women

Paranormal romance is not just for women. Okay, maybe it’s mostly for women, but not just for woman.

Frankly, if I was a dude and wanted a peak into the female psyche, I wouldn’t just read paranormal romance—I’d study it. Solid glues about us girls can be found in everything from classics like Harrison’s Dead Witch Walking to ‘soft…
