My rough draft of my book. I have finished about three chapters but i have not typed them up yet.

Yep it was that time of the month again. The time when me and my twin brother would switch parents and visit the other for a week. I never liked it because when you visited my dad he spent the first hour with you then passed you off to the nanny so he could work and i hated not being able to be with Jamie. Launching your latest!

Alright so i've put in the hours and created a new book. I slogged through the process of editing, design and all the rest to finally get the book to print. When is the Right Time to Hire a Book Editor?

I don't know when, on the writing curve, Stephen King or Nelson DeMille might seek editorial advice, only that it is documented that they do. So it begs the question, for the writer trying to break into the business with a major royalty publisher--and who accepts that a professional editor looking at the manuscript might not be a bad idea--when is the right time to hire a book editor.
