Oh I don't know. Tears might get in the way of my other writing. hahaha In further news, another publisher is waiting anxiously to do The Trials of the Youngest Princess. I'll be sending it to her sometime next month when my check can be mailed. Wish I had some money in my PayPal account.
Comment by Thomas Berry on May 18, 2012 at 9:07pm I write historical fiction. I love to be able to impart knowledge while entertain as well. The best books I love to read are HF, especially Ken Follett. I just published my second novel, Texas Freedom: Last Stand at the Alamo. What do you write about?
When I first started writing research was restricted to outdated encyclopedias, national geographic magazines and an Encarta encyclopedia on my computer. The books and magazines were buried upstairs and invariably what I was looking for was in the missing book or simply not what I wanted to know. I got pretty good at mushing over such details and making it fictional enough to do. I do occasionally enjoy a good historical fiction, after all, historical or not, it's the story that counts.
Ooh, how exciting! I will have a look...
Thanks Catherine.
Comment by D.L. Simpson on June 18, 2012 at 5:57pm Greetings! Have just finished my first attempt at a short story collection. Self-published on Kindle and am not really sure how to promote or advertise. I really would just like a review to see what a few people think, but it is buried among 300,000 plus entries. Guess I am a little overwhelmed. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the title here, if not I sincerely apologize for the error, but for the sake of the curious or kind hearted who would like to sample it and write a review it is titled, "Rebirth of the American short Story". Honest comments will be appreciated. Sincerely D.L.
You should think up a 'headline' and include the link and pretty much post it everywhere every day. That's what I do. I post mostly on Facebook and Twitter, but I post on Google+ too. You can post it here too, but you might not accomplish much posting every day.
Comment by Chris Stevenson on July 5, 2012 at 1:15am Howdy, I'm Chris. I write and publish SF, urban fantasy, YA distopian and fantasy, thriller, paranormal romance and horror. Planet Janitor Custodian of the Stars is my latest SF adventure/thriller, and The Wolfen Strain has just been released on Amazon Kindle.
Thrillered to be here!
chris
