Help! Dashes or Hyphens

Please Help! What do you think? The sentence reads:

One-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, three ...

One - one - thousand, two - one - thousand, three ...

One more thing, is there a space between three and the ...?

Dashes are created to create asides. Hyphens are used to make multiple words into one term. It should be a hyphen with no space after or before. So use the first one.

'One one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand' and 'one one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand' seem to be the correct way to write this.

Yes, that's right because the one-thousand is two words that have become one just like mother-in-law.
