Good for you Amy. Writer Beware is a great source to find questionable items like this, and if you don't find what you're looking for, ask. Also Preditors & Editors -> http://pred-ed.com/ . I've asked them about a couple contests. They do answer.

Donna, a great resource and writing group is Agent Query Connect. Just run it all together and add the rest of it. Those people are a great group of writers and they have a nice collection of agents etc.

happy writing all

Hi guys! Just thought I'd drop a link if anyone would like to check out the prologue and first chapter of my novel, Deadly Reunion. www.amymanemann.webs.com/deadlyreunionexerpt.htm Happy Reading!

Amy, I read your work. I enjoyed it. Just a thought...When identifying who's speaking, perhaps try using actions instead of the word (reply). In other words Mel laughed. Or Mel cried out. Something other than replied. The piece was great but too many replies.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! :0)

Pleased to meet you both, Mary and Amy.

Amy, another way to clue your reader into who's talking is add the dialog to a paragraph with the person's motion. Example: Jake straightened his back and wiped the sweat from his brow. "Man, it's hot out today."
