Good luck Bryan, I wish you every success no matter which way you decide to go,

here is a good place to start. Crystal is my editor and she has very reasonable prices. A penny a word I believe is her rate but she will give you an estimate from a sample. Or if you join linkedIn.com and search some writing groups, that too is a great resource. Agent Query Connect is another great group.

It's never a good idea to try to do a final edit on your own work. Your brain will put in things you want there and your eyes may miss the lack. I've heard many professional editors who will have their own work edited by other people. Kudos on the course though. More power to you.

The link above goes to Crystal's blog. From there you can use the contact information or find her website. I'd give you her email, but I'd rather not without her permission.

Oh please tell me you're not signing with Publish America. They are such a rip off

You will get no sales from them and they will sit on your contract and prevent you from going somewhere else with it. Believe me, you will be your only customer. I've heard such bad things about them. Check out Writer Beware - www.writerbeware.com - this is their website. I follow their blog - www.writerbeware.com - I'm always hearing horror stories about PA.

Still. I can't see them changing their spots.

Hi Bryan...If you self publish, you wil be the one promoting and selling the book. If that's something you want to do, great! Myself, I want to write, therefore I'm looking to get published by a publisher who will invest in my work. However the publishers get 70 plus %, leaving the writer 10-15%. So if you have the time and money, self publishing might be the way to go...

Yeah, just not Publish America.
