Catch a glimpse of the groundbreaking website that is putting well-deserving, upcoming authors before the world. These authors are teaming together with professional associate readers who in turn help get the word out regarding their favorite authors. Find out more about this lovely site at Janet Beasley's Blog  Thanks in advance for your shared enthusiasm and support for the authors you're about to discover!  ~Janet~

Hi everyone. Hoping you're all doing good today. I'm old at telling tall tales but new to putting them into print. With everything involved in self-publishing I have to wonder how where everyone even finds the time to keep writing!

Once you have one (or two) out there, the time certainly does go to other thing than writing, for sure.

I know that feeling! I'm so intent on marketing my first novel that my second is pretty much a non-starter. Plus I'm writing a separate novel that I started last year and am intent on finishing. Maybe I should retreat into a cave somewhere with my computer for a while...

Catherine - Good luck with that!  I keep trying but people keep finding my cave!

I am doing a ton of pre-promotion for the first novel "MayclY" in my epic fantasy 6 novel series "Hidden Earth." I also stay busy writing on the next 5 novels that will follow, plus I enjoy promoting other authors at the same time - whether on my blog, Twitter, FB - any way to help them get the word out on their book's news. I stay busy, but thanks to Twuffer and TweetDeck I can keep the word going out to the masses. I've also found that by continually promoting my fellow authors, I don't have to do much of my own shameless self-promoting, as so many authors are kind enough to return the favor time and again, leading their fans to my blog where my novel updates are posted weekly along with so much more. I think the writing world is an absolute stellar  genre in which we have the grand opportunity to "pay it forward" before, during, and after our journeys through publishing.

Janet - you are right about the pay it forward!!!  It helps to be nice to people and help each other!  It's not a competition - it's a team sport!
