Good advice, erika. I'm not a worrier myself. I learned long ago it doesn't stop things from happening that are going to anyway so it's a waste of nervous energy. You can still prepare best you can and be proactive, just don't sweat it too.

You can add it to your blog here (go to Blogs>my Blogs, then Add a Blog Post) or post a thread on the forum, Sandra. Whatever you prefer. :) It's helpful too if you're clear as you were there about what kind of help you're looking for because not ev…

Nice story, Julie! I would have suggested you shorten some sentences and do more showing rather than telling. It's also okay to leave some things to the reader's imagination. You don't need to share every little detail all at once. The mum upstairs…

Hi Scribbler,
Thank You for the warm welcome.... I'm learning so much from everyone. Thrilled that Robert Ed Littlefield invited me to the site....I have written for a newspaper in a metro setting...Staff writer. And I've recently been asked to be a reporter. I love writing. Yes, Tolstoy is my fav.... but I love comedy as well. I love to write humorous articles because everyone needs a laugh today...especially if commuting to work is your mode of transportation...It gives time to reflect on the day ahead..... ..Look forward to hearing from you again.

Thanks for the welcome.
I'd like to say I have a genre, but most of my experience has been writing essays.
I'm working on a novel. No luck yet getting it read. However I persevere.
