i need help with my writing ranging from editing. Let me give you a clue and feel free to get in touch with me. I have been writing horror stories for quite long.

I love horrors and I have been writing horror stories for quite sometimes now and if you are in my category, why not get in touch with me?

My wife was not definitely feeling well, been happening for quite long and the precious night, she had a sleepless night. I was pretty damn sure it was the bloody nightmare. In the morning I could tell just by looking at her eyes. Though she tried to assure me everything was perfectly all right, nothing to worry about, I was not fully convinced. Something was definitely wrong with her. I wondered what the hell could be. She used to trust me completely, always straightforward with anything but it was completely different and for the first time.

In the morning I realized that she was gone, tried to reach her on her cell phone in vain and kept asking myself what the hell could have happened, gone where, whether she was all right?

I got into my car and just drove to nowhere. I found myself on the lonely road heading to a mysterious cemetery. I heard some awful stories about it. I wanted to back off and go somewhere else but I made up my mind to get to the place.

I droved on, suddenly an awful human skeleton hit my car, cracking the wind screen. I looked at it and got carried a way. I droved on in the confusion, the skeleton remained on the car. I started hearing strange sounds, turned my head to look at the chair with me, an awful human skull was right besides me. I couldn’t take it anymore. I stopped the car by the road, opened the door, came out and fled out of the road, between the trees. I started hearing strange sounds, my wife in deep trouble was screaming for help. I turned my head to look around, a mysterious force pushed me off the ground, flew in the confusion, hit a big tree and felt down. I got hold of the branches close to the ground and holding onto them. When I turned my head to look around, it was my worst nightmare, an awful naked body of my wife was lying on the bloody coffin, beheaded, with her head missing, and a dog was standing at the place and busy consuming one of her arms. The deformed ghost of my wife was also present, standing and struggling to chase a way the dog…

David, you say you've been writing (it doesn't matter what) for quite some time. Normally, if someone posts something like this and asks for a little help, I give it, but there are too many errors for here. My advice is for you to google writing blogs. There are tons of them. Read through them and see if you can glean some tips. Another resource would be editors' blogs.

Things to avoid: repeated words or phrases

Things to remember: it's important that your character has a reason for doing whatever they do. He couldn't reach his wive on the phone so he goes for a drive going nowhere < bad idea. Give him a reason to go driving. GPS on the phone??? Anything will do. Good luck

Walls, you are completely right. Something incredible happened to me in 90s when I started writing. I suffered severe brain problem which erased almost everything from my mind. I couldn’t write anymore, it was almost impossible to write my own name properly! I thought it was the end of me. It affected my life, everything tremendously. This explained why I have problem with writing my stories. It was never treated and up to now I am still having the brain problem. It means that I have been writing for many years with the brain problem and still looking forwards for the treatment to pave the way for me to turn my huge dreams and mission into reality, something I strongly believe capable of achievement it. I strongly believe I got something incredible to offer to the entire universe. I had to make a choice to give up writing or move on with it. I decided to carry on with my writing, refused to give up simply because I have problem writing my stories. I was looking at the bigger picture. And besides, my powerful imagination and creating was driving me nut, I had to do something about it. It is the main reason why I was forced to become a writer in the first place. I love writing, it means a lot to me and it is my life. I don’t think I can stay a way from it. My life without writing would have been so boring. I have been in my world for so long and now I want to come out and share it with the entire universe. My writing is a long story and I don’t want to give up.

Ah - I can understand that force. Try reading aloud or narrating aloud to your computer. Also you can have your computer read to you. That is an editing trick I use myself and it works wonders for finding those little errors. Also I recommend finding a writing group or partner who can help you get it out of your brain and onto paper. It's great that you decided to go on with writing despite your troubles. Keep it up. You can conquer this.

I am struggling to do just that. Sometimes it is very frustrating not to be able to put your imagination and creativity into full action, just the way you wanted it to be exactly. I used to say to myself that mankind should invent a unique machine whereby it captured your powerful imagination and creativity on the spot, no need of acting the stuffs. Is it possible?

I've always thought that if we can imagine it, we can make it possible. I mean, we didn't have underwater breathing tanks until I believe it was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was turned into a movie. Nor could we travel to the moon. Pretty big accomplishments for them being just someone's imagination at one time. And look at all the little things in our life - cell phones, home computers, and on and on.

I have been in my world for quite long and there is a lot of things I don’t know, don’t understand. I am still yet o catch up with the rest of the world. It is like I have been in captivity in the world. It is great news to hear that because I used to think that some of the stuffs we do imagine are extremely beyond turning them into the reality. There is something else I would like to find out from you, how far one is supposed to go with his or her powerful imagination and creativity? For example when we are writing sophisticated horrors which are too extreme, worst graphic scenes, too shocking. I have some of those stories using them to test the level of my powerful imagination and creativity. Do we have limit? Are there rules to be followed? Are there things like you have crossed the line?

And another thing, take a look at my story, Cross Fire I posted excerpts on author.com and give me some advice regarding it.
