Hey, dudes! im back with a new discussion! Kay...listen up.
i was thinking it quite over...About the Whole 'RAPTURE" topic..
truly wondering if god would really speak to us about the downfall of humanity
on December 21, 2012. so that we could easily just plead for our sins and repent after living
a full life of lies and cold madness.
Do you believe the world will really end that day? or will we just continue on with our lives as if the fact this So called fact isn't in the bible.
So i've heard.
Comment, and tell me what you think of the so called, "END"
Also!...If any of you know exactly what page in the bible that states This EXACT sudden date. TELL ME!! lol Thanks dude!..and Dudets ..of course..lol
Speak out what YOU believe.

Hey! Star Wars was good O=

Heck Betty if we had to make all the movies based on real life that would be boring. We'd never have seen The Three Amigos, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Spanglish or dare I say it even Twilight or Star Wars epics or ....

On second thoughts I like that idea LOL. ;)

Yup, I saw that movie a while back.
to tell you guys the truth i started this discussion because of that film. 2012 was good, but i don't like the fact they made a movie based on something that never happened.....Yet..i guess, i dont know.
I have a dangerous set of thoughts for you, my young friend.
Imagination is the key ingredient in anything we as humans do or say. It is the human imagination, indeed the human condition, that has created the very art, poetry, sculpture and, yeah, very sadly, the art of war that defines us. It is for the sake of our voluminous minds that we oft' sacrifice our bodies and souls to the ultimate rapture of our various addictions...to love, to lust, to greed, to passions invisible but tangible enough, and for those chosen few...to the task of making s*** right. . .and even, for some, eventually to go away by the sad virtue of anonymity.
Feel free to rip me a new one, but that's what I think and feel.
True...but dont you think thats just plain dumb? producing what they think the future is? freaking confusing, man...lol Spanglish? ain't that a chick flick?
.....Attack of the killer tomatoes???? wtf?

It IS really dumb. I mean, the Jetsons are one thing, movies like this are another. But hey, who are we to judge other people's interests. I mean, we might watch movies they thinkare stupid and pointless. While you are free to express any opinion you possess, don't hurt others in the process.

No I don't think it's dumb. Movies like that have been around forever and can be fun to look back on and see what came true and what didn't. Historically they are useful because by their production they show what interested the societies of that time. Just like the Mayans are showing us what they were thinking back then with their calendar.

Yeah, Spanglish a chick flick. And an awful one. I was attempting to be funny saying I liked the idea after all because we'd never have had any of those movies I hate. :)

You haven't seen Attack of the Killer Tomatoes? It's a treat LOL. It's actually a spoof horror movie about giant tomatoes from 1978. You can watch the trailer at IMDB. Good for when you're in the mood for a plain silly movie. Bad if you want to see a serious horror.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes isn't as bad as MGM's Night of the Lepus (1972). Giant man eating bunny rabbits escape from a lab. Seriously. I caught the movie in the early hours one morning on TV twenty years ago and it was too gory for me! I'd thought it was going to be a spoof. Janet Leigh of Psycho fame was in it.

Mark, agreed. It would be a dull and soulless world without imagination. Imagination without action is sadder still! Sorry that I veered this thread off topic and missed your comment.

Now we are here in 2012, any other thoughts?

The time is getting nearer, though I know whatever happens it won't be under my control or influence so I don't worry about it. I have been in too many dangerous situations in life to worry too much about tomorrow, live every day as if its your last. Be good, be kind and be aware every day we are granted is a blessing.

EnJoy life and keep writing!

I don't believe it will. I don't think anyone has the ability to know when the world is going to end except for the creator himself. Either way, I live my life the best I can. I'm prepared either way. I feel the Lord will come when he's ready. I believe that you can't find it in the bible because it's not there.
