Some more edits: Looking past the desk, they noticed an official placard on a half opened open, well worn oak door that read, “Mayor”; ... Written on the board In white chalk letters printed neatly on the board, was the name, Jesse…

Some edits: He was in the midst of coordinating festivities for the up-coming celebration of John Stark Day (the town’s namesake), which consisted of a rather elaborate picnic in the town square; that is, as elaborate a gathering as could be…

I like this guy Jesse Stokes. I hope I'm not abusing the intention of the game. Here's a little more:      Jesse was among those who had not yet found their relief within the confines of a FEMA camp. The effects of the…

I tweaked it a little here and there and added some more, it was fun to run with it. I'm not used to looking back at my first rendering and not being able to go in and work on it before hanging it out there (so to speak). But it is interesting…

So I noticed you have a liking for mystery? i have been kicking around an idea about a book about a young sleuth. well technically 15 year old. =] I wrote a paragraph in one of my blogs about it for people to get the taste of his character. I'd love it if you checked it out and gave me some feedback! =]

My problem has been not being able to find literary agent that's intersted in my work. So I've had to go the self publish route, which I have not had much success at selling my books on line. Even dropping the prices has not seemed to help? So now I'm thinking of next year purchasing my books and then using my store on Authors den to sell autographed copies of my books from home. I'm not expecting to be the next Stephen King, I just want to get my books some exposure. I'm all over the search engines, I've got a profile on Amazon.com, I'm doing book reviews, movie reviews, I have listamania list, to achieve extra exposure but as of yet no book sales to speak of. It's really heart breaking. As I believe in my books.

Also next year I plan to visit some book stores see if they will allow me to display my works, offer to do book signings if they'd like me to. Financially this year it's just not possible. But next year I'll have more funds to work with to promote my books even more agressively.

hey Callie, thanks for answering my question what brought you into the authoring world. your story is a lot like mine, I hated books and writing and reading, practicably anything to do with books. I was wondering, have you ever published a book? I still haven't I'm only fourteen, I was hoping you knew, thanks again!!!
