YOU MUST HAVE TO

I received an interesting question from an English teacher in Iran who wanted to know the differences, if any, between “must” and “have to/has to.” This is an interesting question because the expressions are nearly identical. In the active voice, the subject performs the action described by the main verb. In the passive voice, the action described by the main verb is done to the subject.

Example D.1a, active voice: “The service…

Prequel to one of the books I am writing.... Titled "De Ja Vu" (just noticed - asterisks to cursing...are you serious!?)

Taylor Lockewelle had finished his glass of rich, bold, and dark Italian Merlot.  The final mouthful he had let sit there for a moment, savoring the flavour while he could.  It was the best wine he’d had in ages.  It was the best ending of the night, considering his day was pretty shitty.

Taylor was a business owner in the research and development sector for the government.  The business, Guardian Sektor Labs Inc., or G-Sek Link, for short, was a major R&D component for everything…

I have decided to donate a good deal of the royalties to The Innocence Project in tribute to those who have lost their lives having been convicted of crimes they didnt commit.
