#NaNoWriMo and all that Work

Oh my goodness is it really #NaNoWriMo next week? I have totally lost this last month in a flurry of work. I have been busy trying to finish my current WIP The Darkness of Love. For NaNoWriMo I will be working on a novel called Love Kills, the second in my Redcliffe series. It means I already have a plot in mind, and my characters… Continue

Why me and exercise don't mix!

This morning a couple of my neighbours asked me if I wanted to go hiking with them.  Apparently it's what one of them does every year on her birthday!  Personally, I can think of more appropriate activities by way of celebrating - activities that involve a few glasses of wine, a cake and maybe a few pressies...

So obviously I said a polite no to their invitation - although even if I didn't have work to do, it's fair to say

I still wouldn't have been chomping at the…

Scary Movie

Just saw a super scary movie. While my friends were talking about how much they jumped at this part and how crazy that part was, all i couls think about was how ingeniously they tied the plots together of all the movies in the series. I must be a true author:)

A Poem I Wrote:

This is a poem I wrote a long time ago.  A friend of mine was so touched, she had a plaque made.  she had it engraved in gold letters, on a colored copper plate, and set into a solid oak frame.  It looked so beautiful, I actually considered marketing copies of it...well, until I found out they would have had to sell for $120 each. I usually don't tend to share my poetry, mostly because I'm my worst critic, and I don't think any of my poetry is good enough. But then, this is a…
