Shattered hearts, world ripped and torn apart

Why must I care, this just isn't fair

Cant carry them all, legs wobble until I fall

Still I fight, with all my might

Thought it was over, then I got sober

Freed minds, one cell at a time

See clear, once fog dissapeared

Still a long road, not so bad when your not alone

More will come, once they are done making excuses

Freedom is being aware of evil, but not fearing

We are strong as a whole, but solo we may fall

So stop being weak, and grab my hand to be

Jonthon, I like your style of poetry writing.  I think it's unique.  I like the line "Freedom is being aware of evil, but not fearing."  That's a good advice.

Thx, I just wrote this recently. It is unique, but I am starting to think, most people will not understand. Glad you did, "freed minds, one cell at a time" was my fav line. Because originally i was talking about brain cells, but can aslo be applied to jail cells. Idk if you caught that.

You write a lot like I do. I noticed how you flow with a freedom, it makes it great.

Thanks Tabitha, yes I do write a lot. My favorite way to write, is completely freehand and just off the top of my head. I will look out for some of your work, always enjoy good poetry.

I think I do understand what you mean.

Yeah, one very fun exercise I like doing is with scrabble(which Most writers enjoy playing). But what you do is play a game, then using the words on the board, write a poem, its extra fun and difficult if you only use the words on the board. This is interesting because it makes it completely random.
