In the streets
I'm left there to wonder
to think of the many possibilities
that the shadows give
Not knowing where these cold pavements guide me
I just know I am going
Hoping
Believing
that everything will be okay
my choices will be good
even though they may bring tears and fears
I'll never regret
In the streets
Where I'm left to wonder
Forever thinking of the possibilities

I like it, I like it! Doing some soul searching are you, Viviana? :)

I like it too even though the general air of your poem feels very sombre and serious. Good job, Viviana. :)

You have such beautiful poems, and I think this is my favorite. The shadows acting as ideas, hidden ideas, waiting to be discovered in a cold, concrete world that is more than what it seems. This is very real and true, and I can't wait to see what other fantastic works you have in store.
