Maybe in the mourning i'll be able to smile.

Upon nights returning I may be happy awhile.

If today is filled with sorrow,

perhaps joy will come tomorrow.

Look for the light,

try to find a way,

know through the darkest night

always comes a brighter day!

This is really an enjoyable poem to read and re-read.

Lol this my little brother, styles are similar but still different.

Very nice poem but the rhyme changes from every sentence to every other halfway through. I would keep the rhythm going one way or the other. The poem hold sadness and hope. I would take out the first word maybe to make it even stronger...And also the word (may) in the next sentence down, I would change to, will... Isee this poem published...

Lovely poem.  Short but to the point.  The lines flow into each other.  I liked the last two lines, especially.

This is a lovely write. I enjoyed it.
