Personally, my favorite author is J.K. Rowling because she's EPIC! But surprisingly enough, my favorite book is Gone With the Wind, or Fairest, it's kind of a tie :)

My favorite would probably be The Wizard of OZ, since I believe it really opened the door for the imagination to take off. Being such a favored classic for so long and by so many its what inspired me to write "Reeshard and The Great Parish Swamp".

Do anyone like Dean Kootnz?

I have many favorite authors. My altime favorite is Nora Roberts but I also love Heather Graham, Sherryl Woods, Sherrylin Kenyon, Lara Adrian, Shannon K. Butcher, Melissa Mayhue and Lynn Kurland.

My favorite book right now is Jewels of the Sun by Nora Roberts.

Juliet McKenna, favorite work by her is The Thief's Gamble. She's better than Tolkien and makes him look like a rambling old man. That's right, I just said she makes Tolkien look like a rambling old man.

Nasu Kinoko, I love Tsukihime, it's very drawn out though. His take on the supernatural is especially unique, and it just stands out so well compared to other modern fantasy genres. His universe works on his rules.

Hikaru Sakurai, Shikkoku no Sharnoth was an excellent lovecraftian-esque horror. The depictions of the creatures in the visual novels she writes are beyond description, and she can also create a very good cast. I was hooked on Sharnoth for ages.

Gen Urobuchi, anything he creates (Writer of Song of Saya, and Fate/Zero which is based on a work by Nasu Kinoko) is brilliant. His works are especially tragic and heart-wrenching with some very good twists and takes on things. He also did the script for the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica, which takes Magical Girl and completely destroys it (understatement). Song of Saya for example, an eldritch alien abomination from space appears as a beautiful young girl to the protagonist, who suffers from some gory hallucinations. Whole thing is tragic.

WOW! No need to be mean!

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh I heard of the book but never read it! Is the book good?

It's a very good read, I personally felt the movie was better though.
