Authors.com

Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

I was thinking today about how big the internet is and the vastness of its reach. And then I pondered on how we all find our little corners of happiness on the web. Authors.com is definitely one of mine! So tell me, how did you get here initially and discover our fab community? :D

To be honest I was doing a search on google for blog spots who would be willing to review my books. I'd stumbled onto one blog which had a whole list of other blog sites on it and authors.com was on it. Talk about lucky! I've never found a better site for authors, it's great!

I think that I found this spot because someone in one of the linked-in groups mentioned it.  I checked it out and asked to join because I feel the need to reach out and touch every writing group that I can.  I am learning from everyone.  My goal is always to grow and I am constantly looking for anything that makes me think.

There was a widget on a blog that I clicked on - but I cannot remember who's blog it was now!

As is my usual approach, I think I just stumbled upon Authors.com while browsing the internet for tips and tools for networking as an author.  So glad I found it!

Sorry, I haven't been here very often. Although I have accepted all friend requests-'m a sociable kinda guy when I come out of my shell.

Truth be told I don't remember how or why I found my way here, but I do need to get more involved.

P.S. Best wishes for a Happy New Year of the Dragon.

I am a graphic designer and design book covers and I was in touch with many authors for designing their book covers. Someone told me to help the authors out there and join forums so I searched authors forums on google and got Authors.com. I am warmly welcomed by the community and enjoying since I been here. I will share some of my book experiences shortly.  Please keep it up!

Cheers

To be honest, I don't know how I found this site. I think somebody, I don't remember who, sent me a link, but I'm not sure about that. It was very late one night, or early in the morning depending on how you look at it.

I found this forum through a lady in the UK, Morgen Bailey at http://morgenbailey.wordpress.com/. : )

I was searching for other sites in which to promote my books, my blogs, and to make new acquaintences. Authors.com came up on the first page.

I came across authors.com in hope to find someone who knows what its like to write a novel or even a short story to a poem. I enjoy writing and telling people of my journey's of my mind and to express what life I may have lived as another. I like any and all types of books. I also enjoy writing poetry. I hope one day to become a famous writer.

To be absolutely honest - I'm not even sure what led me here - except perhaps serendipity! I sometimes go for long meandering journeys round the internet, following one path after another with no real goal in mind - and sometimes the journey can be very fruitful - as this one has been.

I found Authors.com through a friend of mine. She has a profile here and wanted to share it with me. I've had it linked from my blog for the longest time and finally decided to break down and join.
