I've Been Waiting For You All Summer...

I stood on the porch watching the rain

Feeling the spray from the raindrops

On my face, my bare hands

It's really cool this morning

One of the coolest mornings this year

Fall time is here, Fall time is here!

This is my favorite time of the year

It's finally... here

Welcome, Fall... welcome from me!

I look down toward the little fish pond

Watch the raindrops as water meets water

The beauty of raindrops kissing the water

The steam that rises up above

The water as one water meets the other water

Steam, fog... the marriage of raindrops, water

I love this wonderful day, it's really Fall

I am going inside to take my shower

Put on cosy clothes, sweather..jeans.. boots

My hair will be squeaky clean, soft from being washed

It'll blow gently in the wind that rings the windchimes

Clean body, clean hair, clean clothes.. the best feeling in the world

I will go back outside once I've showered

To enjoy this real fall day, to breathe the cool, fresh air

Knowing I am ready for anything today... I feel strong today
