julia, we have a Writing Resources section in the Groups and there are tools there that will give you ideas. Why not do something that's a theme for whatever month? Spring arrives next weekend. Write about something related to Springtime.

And by the way, if you took the time to add comments to another member's forum post or blog, they would be FAR more willing to take the time to do that for you. Community is about sharing, not just taking. When you give, you get.

Think about something that you love, then turn it into something amazing........lets say..........a sport or a thing. Turn it into a exciting story by adding in alot of detail.
ex.) Softball
The cold air was stinging my fingers but I had to keep practicing. If I practiced for at least 6 hours each day I may have a chance at making the team.
Sometimes some subjects may be hard to write about, but once you think about characters, you can have a really exciting story!

To me there is a story everywhere you look. Try not to bend your brain to much. Just go with your everyday flow and something will eventually capture your interest and the words will begin to flow. Good luck
