Christmas Pine by W.J. O'Neil

Silent, beautifully aglow, soft light of love

  Watchful, caring, so far above

Arms outstretched, so wide, around

  Holding precious, from falling down

Hidden warmth, alive with light

Smiling brightly, on cold dark night

Cherished memories, of you, of me

Gently floating, for all to see

Red and white, holding hand and spinning down

Making smile, what once was frown

Gentle breezes, makes movement there

  Like trickling water, everywhere

Patiently waiting, such colorful joy

For a girl, or a boy

Wrinkled of time, yet standing tall

  Remaining firm, and holding all

Offering seasons feeling, nature's smell

  Wishing all, be very well

It's a beautiful poem.  I like the sound and flow--takes you along, like floating on a gentle river.  The rhythm is beautiful.  Love it.
