Blue Blood for Life is the 2nd book in the series! Like Book 1 it is written from several different points of view. We have provided you a view of Kristin POV here.

Chapter 3 - Kristin's Pain

I was just about to reply that was probably exactly what happened, when I got hit with a wave of emotional pain.  It was so strong that it felt like someone had just stabbed me in the chest, but it wasn’t me, it was coming from our bond.  I gasped and grabbed the edge of the table to keep from falling off my stool.  Dizziness was washing over me as I gripped the edge trying not to damage it with the strength of my hands.

I must have looked horrified because all three of my friends reached for me with surprised looks on their faces, watching me without saying anything. I tried to take a breath but the pain was so intense through the bond that I couldn’t seem to bring the air into my lungs.

Deep dark intense pain was radiating through my mind, centering in my chest and then moving out along the limbs of my body.  I closed my eyes and tried to absorb the pain without it affecting me more.  Alex.  What was going on with Alex?  Was he hurt?  This amount of pain had to be physically inflicted, and pain this intense for a vampire had to be severe.

The emotional burst last only about 30 seconds and then it was gone.  It didn’t fade away; it was just there and then it wasn’t.  I opened my eyes and found all three of my friends staring at me with startled looks on their faces.

“Alex,” I said as I tried to breath.

What had just happened? I picked up my cell phone with shaking hands and punched up Alex’s contact information. As I was about to bring the phone to my ear, I felt a shiver go down my back again. I quickly spun around in my chair and made eye contact with the female vampire that had been at the bar.  She was walking towards the door quickly, talking on her cell phone and looking at me.

Just as she reached to door, she looked back over her shoulder one last time and although I could not hear her words, I could read her lips and I would have bet a million dollars that she said, “Yeah, she just got the message.” She turned and went out the door quickly.

If I had not been in shock and frozen in my seat, I would have gotten up and gone after her, but as it was, it was all I could do to hold the phone to my ear and will the ringing in my ear to be answered.

Izzy reached out to me as I looked down at my phone and hit the end button.  “Kristin, what’s going on?  Are you okay?”

I looked up at her and then looked at Livy and Kat. I took a shaky breath and looked back at my phone.

“No, something is wrong with Alex...”

Well you've certainly tweaked my interest. Tell me a little more about the books.
What would you like to know.. Maybe it is easier to send you to my website and you can read about both books - see reviews and watch the video trailers...  Stacy S Eaton - Website  If you have any questions after that - let me know and I can answer them then!
Sounds very interesting. It also sounds like they are just coming out. Would you like to do a guest post on my blog? I'd like to know a little about yourself and you can tell my readers all about your books. I don't have a lot of readers but it's something. I post late to morrow but if that's too soon for you, there's always next Friday. What do you think?
I would be honored to Anna - Send me an email to me directly Mybloodrunsblue@aol.com  with what questions you would like me to answer. I'm make sure to tweet it too!
K - Not really an interview though. You get to write about yourself. haha

lol.... Ok - send me an e-mail anyway and we will chat!
