Hey Kay, I appreciate the pleasant welcome. I found my way onto the website because I was looking for a place to have some of my early work looked at and have some feedback. Im not sure if this is how this site works so I wouldnt mind getting a little explanation on everything lol. Thanks
Thanks for the welcome. After 35 years as a pastor/minister I've finally written and have had published my first book; Turtleback Creek; A 30 day Journey of discovery. Daily devotional for men. I'm working on my second book titled "Letters to Tucker".
Hi! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I found this site quite by accident. I was searching for an author friend who went missing on facebook and when I googled her name this was one of the links in the results. Next thing I knew, I was signing myself up! :) I'm enjoying myself. Thanks for the warm welcome!
thank you for your kind welcome. It's nice to know that there are other people out there who love to read and write as much, if not more than, I do. You asked how I came across authors.com. Well, I was just doing a search on google for some new and upcoming authors to try and expand my reading horizons, and the website just popped up. I clicked on it and decided to join. I really look forward to meeting new people on here and perhaps delving into more genres of reading materials.
Kay, I'm trying to remember how I found Authors.com! I've been doing so much research on line I don't remember! I'm sorry. If I find out, I'll put it here asap.
Thank you for 'friending me' as they say nowadays. I'm not certain how all this works just yet. There is no picture of me to post because I don't have a digital camera & even if I did I wouldn't know how to connect it. I do have Skype though. My teenage son hooked it up for me. What would we do without teenagers. But just ask one of them to use a manual can opener & they are lost.
Thanks for checking my book. I quickly stop the free promo when I noticed a mistake that required an urgent attention. Check it out again on 01/27/12 to 01/28/12.
