Mom, why do you hate me?
I was part of your flesh and blood.
What did I do to cause such insensitivity?
Creation entrusted you with our kindred.

I will never perceive the light of day,
no trees, animals, flowers, or an ocean.
I will never experience a pleasurable payday,
for a week's work of my chosen profession.

I will never win a sport's trophy,

and I will never be lovingly kissed.
My future wife will never find me,
and my children will never exist.

I cannot forgive you for my death,
and there will never be another me.
I will never experience my first breath,
through this abortion tube of no empathy.
