Matthew McConaughey is an adventurer who finds a coin he is sure comes from a cargo of treasure that was lost in the ocean during the Civil War. The treasure has ended up underneath the Saharan Desert. He persuades an archeologist (Penelope Cruz) and an old buddy of his (Steve Zahn) to help him track down the treasure, which will be worth a fortune. But they aren't the only ones after the gold, and they face enemies from all sides as they pursue the loot. Directed by Breck Eisner. With Lennie James, William H. Macy and Lambert Wilson.
