This is a very big accomplishment for me because of ADHD. I find it very hard to focus on any one thing for long and it is very hard to sit still. I might have drifted off my topics here and there but I hope my messages get through to help at least one person. I was determined to write it and I did it.
I have read many books in which right now i can't remmember all of them, but i ran into a book in the library called "Sneaky People" I don't know if u might of heard about it. I love to read, I like non-fiction best and descriptive writing, but i have never really wrote anything, I like some fiction, some mysteries, such as Edna Buchanan, "The Corpse Had a Familiar Face" I learned a lot about Miami and its streets by name.
Hi Kay,
I was intrigued by your video of Terry Pratchett. By coincidence, I am enrolled in a Children's Literature course and Terry Pratchett was on our reading list with his book, The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents. I'd never come across Pratchett's work before now, and I'm not sure why. I'm a great lover of Children's Literature, and he is quite an author. I'm happy to know his works now. Thank you for sharing this snippet with me.
Hi Kay! Thank you for adding me to your friends list. My book hit amazon now I'm just waiting to see how it does out there! I have one I'm still waiting on to make it on amazon. Just finding ways for people to locate your book on line is a challenge! "I'm probably a little impatient". I write fiction sooo... we'll see how it goes, I have my fingers crossed. And my toes LOL!
Thank You Very Much !

Thanks a lot for checking out my video. My book is going to be released sometime in 2010 by Tate Publishing. I have not gotten the official release date yet. I will email you and let you know when I have the release date set.
Thank you all for welcoming me. I have been more of an essay writer until now. I've won a couple of minor essay contest (one in college and one sponsored by the Detroit Public Library and Wayne State University), but now my focus is primarily on children's literature - young adult and middle grades. I say children's literature, but I will throw in an adult short story from time to time.
I'm sincere about learning the craft and I'm seeking all the advice I can get. I have a real tough skin and welcome the red pencils (you can't learn the game unless you're willing to play the game).
In case you're wondering, about my none picture and what it represents - I'm rolling the dice, I'm a night owl hence the blue light, and hopefully everything will come up green, even though the story is the thing.
Hi Kay,
I've posted a couple of pages of a short story I've written - in the Forum > Discussion section and I'm ready to see the red pencil. I'd love to get your take on what's there.
Thanks Aaron.

No I haven't read "U" yet. I usually wait until it is in paperback. Retired and on a budget.
Can't wait tho.
