Why I wrote Words from my Mouth-Person Addiction...

The above is the Facebook link to my book which is in the publisher's formatters hands as I type this. After that it will be off to the cover design department for their artists to begin designing my cover for Words from my Mouth-Person Addiction.

It is a nonfiction, true story into the battle of addiction to a person and a relationship as you suffer from that other persons own real addictions as well. It was hard at times to write Words...It forced me to go back through a life and existence that ripped the band aids off and re-opened a lot of deep wounds. For the sake of the book and myself, I was very happy to allow that to happen so readers can get the rawest truth that happened and the most honest truth with addiction.

I have allowed some people read some excerpts from the book for many good reasons. After they have read them, it opened up their own eyes into their own life and relationships they lead. We are born onto Earth more than just to live. It is our responsibility to make the choices in our lives and live with those choices. Most of these people who have read some of the excerpts became very excited for the book because they saw themselves in the life of what happened. 

I was on those footsteps of death on many occasions because I stood by someone. I never understood why politician wives and the rich and famous other halves always stood by their men. I didn't understand it until  I lived it. The book discusses my strong faithful Christian beliefs but how I abandoned God to satisfy the negativity of the relationship. In the end, my abandonment to the Lord was forgiven by Him and I have no doubt He saved me.

The book talks a lot about the power of forgiveness, learning to love yourself, recognizing your own battles and how to demolish them, and the term "love" in all aspects. Forgiveness is the most powerful thing in existence and I hope someone has showed you that power. 

My relationship caused me to have severe neuropathy condition where I receive a lot of attention from my primary doctor, a neurologist, and an anesthesiologist. I receive in depth nerve blocks because of my C5 and C6 nerves being damaged. I undergo a lot of testings and blood work every three months just because they need to make sure all of my numbers and everything is good. They do this because all they can do is prevent further damage to my nerves. The damage can't be redone but they can prevent further damage. For example, if my B12 level is low I have to start B12 shots (like I have had too) because if your B12 levels are low they can damage nerves. Another example if my thyroid numbers are low they must react because low thyroid numbers will further the damage to my nerves.

The whole reason for my book's existence is to educate and inform readers how addiction can trample on your own existence and take everything away from you. When I left my relationship we had a landscaping business. My ex lost the business because he didn't know how to handle it. After I left, he sold our land and Victorian home because he couldn't stand the property without me there. We raised a two year old for almost a year. We were elected officials because we educated a small town and showed them that all people are human and all people bleed.

I decided to give an insight to why I wrote Words from my Mouth-Person Addiction but also why I joined authors.com. I would like to get to know more authors and writers.
