Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

Why do we breathe? Eat? Because we NEED to! Writing is as important to our soul as the fresh air to our lungs! Food for our bodies! The creative side of our brains require sustenance and an outlet like all of the other parts of our physical self. Some write for therapy...and I say this because I do. I get things off of my chest in a blog, or post on a website. The reason I wrote my first book was because of a desire in my heart to see people exercise more accountability, and now I am working on an erotic novel. Why such a drastic change in genre? Because I am a multi-faceted individual with passion and purpose; there is so much to who I am I refuse to be boxed up emotionally or creatively. To write is invigorating and good for my attitude. Self-expression is frowned upon these days, and I have a perverse desire to break free of "cookie-cutter". Whatever you love, write; whether it's in a journal or diary, or your next book. It's in you otherwise you wouldn't be striving to be an author. We do not desire something for no reason :) So, I would encourage you to be WHO you wish to be if only through the pages of written expression. In a world so wrapped up in what they think you should be, bust out of those chains and revel in your ability to put paint to life. What are you waiting for? Go! Be free! :)
