When my arms embrace darkness

One can only think it harmless

Until pain is caressed

And death is undressed

With throes of sick lament

I passed through death, unkempt

Oh, there my soul rest!

I hear church bells

Atop the lonely tower

Ring cold death knells

For my blackest hour

Carnivorous ravens fled

Into midnight hours

Where salty tears bled

Upon funeral bowers

Oh, there my body rest!

My passage through death, unkempt

On thrones of sick lament

And death is undressed

Until pain is caressed

One can only think it harmless

When my arms embraced darkness

That poem is just me dealing with my Bi Polar. Its more of a release from... unpleasant thoughts. I write quite a lot of it. That to be honest, is the least dark. I have more but some of them are too personal to be released. As for what you said, I agree. Totally. I dont see death as something to fear. I see as another birth into something unknown; another life, another snese of higher being.

Thank you, Rege. I appreciate your support. Writing has helped immensely with my Bipolar. Its a key element of my life as a hobbie and also my medication at times. Still, thank you. :)
