I'm looking forward to seeing this group take off Sandra! What do you think are the best/worst things about writing for a living?
The worst thing has to be saving for yearly taxes! I could think of so many other things to spend the money on. The best thing is that I like my job; I really have clients that are respectful and treat me as an equal professionally.
Taxes must be pretty annoying. Writing for a living seems to be a great idea, because all you do is freely jot down anything you want on a piece of paper, and as long as it makes sense and it's a good story that people want to read, you make money for it! You can also inspire many people with your writing.
I wish that were true Jasmine, but the fact is when you write for a living like I do with clients you are writing what they need. Like one of my specialties is legal writing, so I have clients that are attorneys, not very exciting.

On the other hand it does give me a creative outlet and I am able to write my own works and have several books that are not of a legal nature.
Well, I wouldn't know. I haven't started writing for a living yet, I'm in the state of rewriting my first book right now.The first chapter was horrible and sloppy, so I'm rewriting the first chapter and about to start the second one.
Yes, we all go through what we write to edit and if it has been any length of time the editing is often rewriting. not much fun, but a necessity.
