A tear in the rain,

An empty feeling lost to the pain,

A smile in the dark,

Try to ignite a flame with a spark.

A lamp in the sun,

No brighter than whence begun,

A drip in the ocean,

Will a wave set in motion?

Awaken your beauty with a kiss,

A moment she surely would miss,

When did my heart skip a beat,

Losing you I bow my head in defeat.

Two passing ships under the moon,

Our shining moment slipping away so soon,

A Knight amonst the masses,

Who's glory the mysteries of darkness crashes.

Memories replaced by new,

As a rising sun melting the morning dew,

A drop of blood flowing through my Vein,

To travel through my heart your stain.

Another beautiful poem from you.  I like the rhythm.  It flows beautiully.  In the 4th stanza, 3rd line, you wrote: "A knight amonst ..." "amongst."
