I thought it was good. I didn't really like the girl she seemed too bitchy and seemed like she was acting.
I know they say it's real footage but some of it seemed off to me. I was laughing through the whole thing.(there was only 7 people in the whole theater and that's including me) But I liked it how about you all?

I know this is not really about literature but I just wanted opinions.

I've yet to see the movie; I'd like to see it. But from what I've seen on T.V and on the Internet, it looks pretty fake to me, but you'll never really know. I've actually had a few incidents in my house that seemed pretty odd: Doors opening and closing on their own, the door to the attic opening when you need a ladder to reach it and we don't own a ladder, that one freaked me out; and a few other things that I don't really remember. What really got me was they all happened while I was writing my last story: Haunting, which I based entirely off of this house and my family, and an old Ghost Story about the guy who originally owned this house back when it was built. I actually thought he was aware that I was writing a story about him, but after I finished it nothing more happened. Maybe I was just thinking too much into it.
Lol I dont know if I'll get in trouble for saying this but I saw the movie a second time but a boot legged version. And it was totally different so it was a total B.S. And I've had same experiences in my old house and the house I live in now. Like seeing a hand pull paper under my bed, being pulled, seeing shadows surround me, and lots of other stuff in my new house. Its a new house We barely built it 5 years ago and in the trailer we used to live in My sisters and I saw eyes, had our beds punched up from underneath us, Had a cousin say that my eldest woke up with red eyes sat up pointed to the door and say in Spanish "The Virgin" and we're not even catholic my father is a witness and we lived a witness life most of our lives. It's creepy but interesting the things that happened.
Sshhhh, don't tell me too much! LOL. :) It couldn't have been that scary if you laughed all through it. I want to see it too but would hate to be disappointed by all the hype. I wonder why it took so long to be released? It was made back in 2007.

Speaking of disappointing horrors, it was that way for me when the Blair Witch Project came out. I looked forward to it and what a let down it was. Nowhere near as scary as I had thought it was going to be.

I've had a brass ball from the headboard of my brass bed fly off and leave a dent in the wall on the opposite side of the room, so not much freaks me out LOL. I'm more used to strange stuff than most.

So what does make a good scary movie/book then? Thought I'd just throw that in. :)
When A Stranger Calls, was probably the most recent Thriller that I've seen that actually had me somewhat paranoid. It was a different movie than what I had expected it to be. Nothing happened throughout the whole movie, but at every corner and at the end of every hallway she ventured down you prepped yourself for some guy to jump out and attack her, but then nothing happened. All the anticipation for what you thought was going to happen and what the movie made you think was going to happen was what had me pulling an all nighter, lol.

I heard that the movie was about 5 min. scary. then the rest is crap.
Ghost and spirts are real.
I've seen a few.
When, I was young. a Lifesize barbie doll came tofucken life and tied to kill (or i dont know) my sister.
NO LIE.
Death seeks us a round every corner, I almost died 6 times, my sis Abnout 11 and my bro 4..
The sense of death as well as those who've grasped it, CAN NOT be Captured on a film. That movie is A actors hoax.
I heard its based on real film and the directors redid because apparently the real film looked too fake....Yea thats what I though.
