Yes Julius,

I have used Skype and it's great. My son uses Skype to talk to his girl in Brazil from Tennessee. They see one another as they talk and they love it.

I have Skype but i haven't used it for interviews. The one interview I planned on doing with SKype had to get changed to a cell phoen because my computer acts up every so often and freezes for about 5 seconds at a time.

I've used skype for podcasting and conference calls at work, and its great. I've also used Google Hangouts, and that's a great face to face collaborative tool that works well with writer's needs.
