Dreams,how and if you use them.

Everyone of us has probably has had that dream where when you wake up you're like that is the most amazing thing ever! Sometime its the whole dream thats amazing or just a single thing.

Recently I had a dream that dealt with flying singing squirrels that you could buy for a song at a bar carved out of a huge tree. Something really out of a Xanth series Piers Anthony kind of feel. I haven't read all the books nor have a read them in a few years, but it was really awesome! Something I could really use in a fantasy story.

Anyways the main question is if you use things from your dreams and or even nightmares for small bits of inspiration or big bits? What kind of dreams do you usually have?
