I'm going to post a chapter of my story here, please give me as much contructive critism as possible, pointing out my weak spots, and what I could do to make it better. I want to be perfect when I sit down and write my final copy.

Ohh It sounds interesting!! Make more!!!
Okay thanks!

“Anwen, sweetie.” Anwen’s mother tapped her on her shoulder. Anwen had dozed off in the act of thinking about that wonderland again.
“What? Oh, hi Mom.”
“They say that they’re almost done scanning you. They’re just making sure what they saw was true. The doctors were very shocked.”
Oh no, Anwen’s first thought was. Would she be exposed? “What exactly did they think they saw?”
“Why are you even worried? We all know those rumors are untrue.”
It made her feel guilty at the thought that she hadn’t even told her own mother about--what was wrong with her.
“Well, they said they weren’t saying anything in the case they were incorrect.”
Lord, how she hoped they were incorrect. “Oh. Just wondering, because if they said I was a vampire or something I’d probably show up on the headline news and none of my friends would ever talk to me again. The first paranormal celebrity.”
“Don’t worry, swee-- I think the doctors are done!” Her mother ran over to see the results. Anwen saw her sigh with relief, so it couldn’t be anything bad.
“What did they say?”
“They almost thought you were a vampire” (Anwen opened her eyes wide when she said this) “but then they found nothing wrong with you. You can take those clothes off and wear your usual outfit!”
Anwen almost jumped for joy, but one of the doctors gave her a dark look and she decided to just stay still and put on her dressy light-green shirt with ruffles, loose short sleeves, and a strap, her faux-fur sweater, and her skinny blue jeans. She fit into her furry brown boots and headed for the door with her mom.
On the elevator, Anwen joked with Mom, “Uh-oh, my stomach is lurching. Does that mean there’s something crappy in my blood?”
Mom giggled, then urged on, “Oh my gosh, we’ll have to get back straight away!”
“Make sure we tell them all the unusual symptoms I’ve having, including the weird dreams about sucking people’s blood!”
This is where Mom got serious. She started talking in Portuguese, which was always a bad sign. In English, this meant, “You seem to bring up this vampire business a lot. And the doctors were almost positive you were one. I’m getting rather suspicious, and you know how I feel about any funny business, so don’t push my buttons.”
“Mom, you see me eating carrots and pizza and candy all the time! How could you?”
“Maybe that’s part of your act, and you throw it up when non one’s looking. And how do you explain your red eyes? How come they aren‘t blue like your father and mine?”
Telling the truth would mean exposing the secret.

I would have loved to have read it but I couldn't get the file to open, Jasmine. What's a .wps file type anyway? Could you save a simple Notepad version and upload that please?
Okay, because I usually type on Microsoft Works Word Processor so I know exactly how many pages I'm typing :D.
