Do you write or read about werewolves, vampires, angels or demons?  Tell us what you write - what you read and what you like!

LOL  Yeah, pretty raunchy, but I like being...real.  I've always heard the phrase, "Write what you know."  So, that's what I'm doing.  My kids really are a bad influence.  LOL

Ooh yes, I liked that snippet! It sounds pretty cool, and I also chucked at 'sweaty dog balls!' Simple things eh?

So this co-worker comes up to me and asks if I want to read her mom's new book that was just released in Aug. I give her a blank look, and am silently thinking in my head. Okay, if the book sucks, I'll be forced to say nice things about it for the duration of both our employment here. I'm still hesitant about it, then she says it's free. I'll give you a free copy, and you can be like one of those reviewers, and just tell me honestly what you think.

I'm still hesitant, because now I have the responsibility of actually reading it. Ugh! so I finally agree and she gives me the book; and all I can say, is OMG! never judge a book by its cover. This was an amazing book, and the author weaved this lil lycan world, that just just had to be a part of.

Its a paranormal romance, yea I know peoples qualms about Twilight, but I swear its nothing like that. She took ancient myths of Sehkmet, Isis, and some lycan King named Mulkie( never heard of his so I assumed she made him up) but its kewl cuz she worked all of that into the story. The main character is a descendant of Isis, and the main wolf is a 475 year old monk. You guys should really check it out. I swear I loved it, and now I can look her in the face and say it was awesome hahaha!

Lexy - glad you liked it.... it does make it better that you enjoyed it and can give it a great review. Nothing speaks better for a book then when you tell someone else about it.  You neglected to tell us the title.

Hey everyone, I am author of the Shadows Trilogy. The first book in the series is called In The Shadows and is available through all major online retailers.

I would love to get some more readership. :)

Julieanne - It looks very good. I put it on my "to read" list.  Let me know if you ever put it on sale.  I purchase at least 15-20 books a month so I have to do it when the prices are lowest!  Great reviews on it.

Stacy, the pricing has nothing to do with me, but I did just email my publisher stating that maybe the cost could be brought down some. I would love for you to read it, and if it means you being able to purchase it at a discounted price then so be it. Thank you so much for your interest. :) Are you on Facebook at all?

Julieanna - I am everywhere!! lol.... Yes - on facebook and on Twitter and Google +, Linkdin and Triberr too!

I can understand how hard it is to work with prices when you publisher is setting them for you.  One of the reasons myself and many others are Indie - so we can control what we do with our books.    Keep me posted on the price and see you in the social world.  lol
