Being a Christian Author means sharing the words of Christ in deeds instead of words. Being a Christian Author means standing ready to stand up for Jesus Christ- to be proud to proclaim His works and words to the less fortunate, the sick, the homeless, the needy, the poor, and the hungry. As Jesus said, "Stand up for Me and you shall not stand alone". "Come walk with Me". The task of being a true christian will and is not an easy task but the reward shall be great. Do all you can do to help your fellow man- Love thy neighbor as thy self. Spread Goodwill and Love to all and throughout all. Regardless, who you are or what you are -we all all created by One, God, Our Father. We are all created in the image of God and God did not create you to fail! God said it-Christ lived it!
This is good Tommy, but we have been gifted as authors to write. We should not allow religion to keep us unaware to what is truly inside of us. We have been given the gift of inspired writing to share with the world. Just as the prophets & disciples were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write in the Bible, we too have the very same gift. Yes, as Christians, we are to share in deed to the world, but as Christian authors, we are to share in word:) Be blessed, stay encouraged, and continue writing for the Lord.

Blessings of success to you,
Deborah
Specifically, for me, it means that whatever I write in the end has to glorify the Lord, has to lift him up in someway. My book of poems that was just published, Lord, My Lord - it describes a lot of my struggles, but it also includes my personal prayers/talks with God while I struggled. And in the end, he was given all the glory for the changes brought about in me and my life. That's what being a Christian writer signifies to me.

Be blessed.

Jaye,

This is a great response. Yes, everything that we do as Christian writers should point the finger back to the One who made it possible and the One who changed our lives, so that we could help change the lives of others. Love it!!!!!!

Blessings of continued success with your message,
Deborah

hi. For me it means I have to write about my pass, so other people can understand how I got to my present, And then to my future. Yes my first book will be REAL RAW, to grab the REAL RAW. And I know im going to get alot of feed back. But if no- one will stand ans tell ther pain and da real deal before they was SAVE. How is the world going to relate to so much happiness. Jesus brouhgt me out of the darkness. But is now time for me to go back and share some light. How good he truly is. So for my readers they will have to follow me into da second book. When I finally have a relationship with GOD.
Praise God....you are so very right! The Bible tells us that they are won by our testimonies!!!! I am in agreement with you that each of our stories should be told. For one, it allows us to heal. Secondly, it will bring someone else out of what they are going through!!!

I love it!!! God bless you in your writing endeavors,
Deborah

I am a Christian. And I wrote a book because something mysterious happened with me; that none of my friends can fully understand. Because of this, I knew the Lord wanted me to accomplish something. It took me quite sometime to figure it out until finally I saw myself being an author through his guidance. I am delightful with the Lord after finishing the manuscript of my first book "The Revelation". I never dreamt to become an author. Now that I saw my passion to inspire people and to touch other people's lives spiritually, I thank the Lord for giving me such gifts. I am an engineer by profession but I love doing talks in schools to inspire students. To be a Christian writer for me therefore is to fulfill the mission God wanted you to accomplish before seeing DEATH. And that mission is your calling here on earth...

That is wonderful to hear Victoriano. We do offer authors who have not published with us marketing on our website. We would have to read book to be sure that it falls in line with our beliefs and vision, so if you desire you or any of your authors to have books sold on our site, just forward them to our address on the website.

Blessings to you,

Deborah

If one is a called teacher, pastor, or writer, he will be, at the very least, uneasy until he begins to pen some of the inspired revelation imparted to him by the Holy Spirit. When I begin to write, it is with Bible-studied foundation already in progress and the spirit will not let me rest until I do some of the work. It seems I am not allowed to finish (I am a doer who goes not like unfinished projects) without a renewing return to the Bible and prayer on a routine basis while writing.

I concur with your assessment that we are to pass on spiritual understanding of our own events and past. Paul said to be examples. Part of the impetus for writing, for me, is that most hearers seem more receptive if there is a commonality of experience or attitude. I must also agree with your first respondent. We should be living it. However, to share one's Christian living experience with others can be facilitated by writing about them. Is not a large part of the Bible such evidence?

Wonderful response Dr. Wade. Yes, for me, just as the writer's of the Bible were inspired by the Holy Spirit, I believe we too must be led by the Spirit of God in this hour as well. It is only the power of God that is able to transform lives, but He will use our experiences, as you said, to bridge that gap with our common experiences. God bless you as well & keep letting Him use you for His glory!

Deborah
