What does Spring mean to you?

I'm fed up with the cold and the wind, so I'm counting on you guys can help me feel more sunny! The Spring sunshine isn't arriving fast enough.

Tell me about what Spring means to you and what you associate it with in whatever way you wish. If you want to get all creative and flowery, feel free! :) Remind me what I can look forward to. I find my creativity gets a burst at that time of year.

Purple crocuses, yellow daffodils and the earth awakening from its winter slumber. Dirt encrusted fingernails, the smell of freshly mown grass and nurturing seedlings like newborns, every new leaf and delicate shoot giving me a reason to smile.

I LOVE gardening. :D

The young male cat sunning himself on the porch railing. The smell of soil. Wind followed by sunshine followed by raindrops sparkling as the sunbeams shine through them. A deep breath of crystal air. The breeze on my skin. Oh, heaven.

To me spring is renewal, new beginnings . Also once the weather improves a chance to walk, be active and get in touch with natures beauty after winters solitude.

Spring is, A new beggining. New life, new starts. The beautiful flowers, the warm breeze, Children outside playing, Trees sprouting leaves. Haha, i can almost feel it !

Hayfever, mowing the lawn while under hayfever, still raking leaves because my next door neighbor has more trees than me and wont burn them, more hayfever, and a picture of Lily White on my desktop. I prefer it when it's winter.
