Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

Last year I had my first book picked up. The editor was negative and condescending and wanted me to change every element of my story including the characters. The deal fell thru and I lost my passion to write for months. Then I decided I was better than she said I was. I went on a mission and wrote the best story of my life. I bought the Writer's Guide and submitted it to everyone accepting my genre. That was the beginning of July and I received an acceptance letter on August 2.

In short, don't let anyone bring you down!! And don't ever give up your dreams.

Hi Melinda:

That is why I will not turn to a publisher or agent.

Stay true to yourself.

Grammar makes or breaks success as much as the topic of the book itself.
