Read and respond as always :)

~Carly

Heaven:

The pearly white gates we predict and await

To get those crystal wings

Enabling us to soar the sky above the world we left

What is that light at the end of the tunnel?

The start of a new or the end of the old

They say we see our loved ones departed

What age are we then how do we live there

Is it perfection or was perfection living

What if paradise was our life?

Then what will heaven be?

Good poem . All the questions raised within the poem create others which

wise people have struggled for many years to answer. Suppose there was no answer but only 'the being,'

the process of seeing all things happen but never knowing why. It is a possibility and maybe our fate. Best we thin on that for a long time.

I like your poem.  It made me think.  In fact, it still is making me think.

Your poem was very moving to me because I'm so used to dealing with the hells in which I go through on earth. Your poem rekindled the memories of what this heaven on earth could be if I just took the time out to live it. Thank you.

I don't have any poetry on here yet, but I would love some of your feed back on the poems that I have on my blog. www.apoetshome.blogspot.com It's called the "The greatest hell". If you don't mind, would you take a look at some of my work and tell me what you think.

Good poem.  Loved the rhythm.  I think the 4th line would be both: "The start of a new and the end of the old" (life is a cycle).  I liked the way you ended the poem: "What if paradise was our life?"  "Then what will heaven be?"

Kay I am so sorry it has taken me so very long to respond to you. Your poem is  definitaly one that speaks from the heart. You are an amzing poet with a very inspiring message. :)
