A Fight

Shivering with feeling,

Mind is constantly reeling

Captivated by Life,

With all the ecstasy and strife

Heart is overwhelmed,

My mouth speaks no sound,

While my soul seeks to be found

My body is a vessel,

With such verdict it wrestles,

Awake in my sleep,

Tied, I leap

Blinded eyes I see,

On a quest for the key

A mountain I climb

For answers to find

When all along it is here,

Hiding underneath my fear

A decision made,

Now all confusion fades

Finally at Peace,

Finished un-beat

LOL, thanks Johnathon, I am glad you liked this one.  It was written from the heart so many years ago.

Good poem. I liked the rhythm from beginning to end.  My favorite lines were:

"My mouth speaks no sound

While my soul seeks to be found

My body is a vessel

With such verdict it wrestles."

Loved it.

Its amazing what the heart puts out!  Wonderful poem.
