How does an author use lighting source to self publish their work?

All these promises by self-publishing companies are worthless. Did you find out what is your royalty, when a book is sold?  I wish you would find out exactly how the publisher will promote or market your book.  Seriously, can you believe them at all?  They want to make money off you, instead of planning to profit from book sales.  Doesn't that tell you something?  Go to  http://www.txgroup.org/App/Tools/36-Transmedia-Press.html#49 and tell me that you are interested to work with a publisher that has a marketing system and ONLY makes any profit from actual sales of books.  Otherwise you will own a very expensive book with your name on it.

Hmmm - sounds interesting. More textbook oriented but I can see it's value for fiction as well. I didn't comment there because I have to join TeknoX and I'd really rather not. Plus, though a glowing post, there's no real meat to it. Having been bitten by the self-publishing bug once, I'm quite cautious.

I don't blame you, but posting only assures that you will be informed when Transmedia will be on line with all the information you need.
