new writing

I just recently began writing romance short stories and novels about a year ago. i struggled for a bit because I'm used to writing nature-based poetry and lyrics to songs that i would sing with my band. But, it steadily became easier for me to step outside of my comfort zone in order for me to write this novel. I am still 140pages shy of where i want/need to be in order to wrap it up. safe to say i have my work cut out for me. its nice to have authors.com and all of you wonderful people that inspire me to write. keep writing and keep reading guys! Thought is a very powerful thing.
