Virtual Writer in Residence Task 1: The First Line

Cathy Forde sets the first task for pupils as Scottish Book Trust's 2009/10 Virtual Writer in Residence. This is intended for use to stimulate creative writing ideas in the classroom, and five more tasks, all adding to the development of a story, will follow over the next 5 months. Any writer though can use this to boost their creativity, not just students of the project.
