Yes I heard, so you didn't get any of the rain they hoped for? That's very bad! At this very moment we are watching rain pour down! A Miracle! This part of FL for some reason when they say watch out for rain, we know we won't get any. An area called the Green Swamp has what the refer to as peat pods (whatever the heck that is) Apparently we're not far from it so the emissions from it often (we all feel) send the rain elsewhere. Up until last year, we hadn't had rain in 5 yrs. Have only had 3 measurable amounts of rain all summer. Mother Nature has been hard on us all this year. Stay cool! That was another reason why we came home several months earlier than normal. Just too dang hot, would rather be in my house with central air than stuck in the motorhome with the air on. So what day and time would be could for our "talk." Lin

A warm welcome to you Linda. Authors.com is a great place to be. Enjoy yourself! :) Would you be so kind as to drop by this thread please and tell us how you found your way to Authors.com? :)
Linda - I think most of us know the feeling of being tied to our computers!! I just read your post. Congrats on having your son home!! My son is in the Navy and about to be transferred to a new base. I am tapping my fingers waiting to find out if it will be close by or far away.

Linda - yes - directions would be nice. I wonder if in those directions it could explain how to talk your 21 year old out of getting married. sigh.... Sending you a hug!!! and I wear combat boots - so tell me where you find your son and I'll give him a quick kick in the butt. Tell him to look into law enforcement - a lot of military guys go that way - they enjoy the structure.
