The evening air has a nip in it.  Oh, how I love the cool evening air in the fall time.  To make it more special, I put on a nice sweather to make it feel cosier. 

Next, I fill the coffeemaker with water, coffee... I'm going to make hot coffee to enjoy.  I'll take my cup outside to sit at the table on the porch.

I am sitting here at my desk, looking out the window of my mind.  I don't see anything, yet... I know that whatever I want to see ... is there.

I do see something now... it's another tall, big, blonde muscular guy, who reminds me of Tommy, my son.  I see him off in the distance moving around working on his big truck, doing maintenance on it. …

I write to keep the memory of Tommy alive, to never be forgotten.  Tommy was my only child, my son. 

Tommy died May 29, 2010 on a Saturday evening ... he and his family had gone to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to spend a week.  It was their summer vacation, they were happy, excited to be going to the beach.  Tommy was…
