Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

Sometimes it comes out in a short story. At other times it comes out in a song or poetry or in a blog post. (See a video of a song I wrote below)
I call my self a creative writer. I mainly like…

Hello Everyone,
It is summertime, that hot time of year. This is the time when families, friends, relatives and all will be getting
together for those big family reunions and family gatherings in the backyard. I love summetime even though
it is muggy hot down south. That is one reason some call it the "dirty south". (smile). I love all of God's
seasons. They are all very special times of the year. God made all of them for a reason. The…

Everybody who experimented any kind of loses, from earthquake to death of someone loved, put himself the question: Why me? Am I guilty , am I blamed or I made a mistake in my life?
Those and other many philosophical questions about what our brains are, who we are, and why we're asking these questions all of our fears in life can be traced back to the most fundamental one: not knowing who we are.
And therefore, the goal of higher states of…

This is my last word, and I hope that you hear it.
It's the least you could do.
This is the last time; I've finally accepted.
All I say is nothing short of true:
You left a wound so deep, it seems unreal;
I bled so fast, it seemed I had no hope to heal.
It's all that I could do to stay alive
when my heart didn't want to survive.
This is the result when
somebody's soul has been
shredded up to vapors in the air.
When…

You know how you get when you haven’t had something in a while. You start thinking about it all the time. Wondering, how will I get that? When will I get that?

About a year ago, I put out a little story called A Vampire's Guide to Sex. It was my little poke at genre writing. I had my fill of those books/movies whose title references the setting sun. When I learned that the pop phenomena had glittering vampires, I could feel the heat of Bram Stoker spinning in his grave half way around the world.…

That's right, Set Free: An Amish Journey has come to an end. Allan's story comes to its conclusion with Trestle Press's latest release - Volume 9 - Humbled.
As a bonus, Trestle has decided to include the short epilogue of Volume 10 with Volume 9 for free. What do you think about that? I think it's great!…

I've painted quite a revealing picture of the difference between women and men when it comes to how they feel about cars. So don't act like you're surprise when I say that men can love their cars and oftimes drive the HELL out of their women! But why do they? Okay people before I get into this, I would just like to say that I am a guy, that way men know that it is not a woman trying to wreck their brains trying to understand why men love cars, but an straight from the mind…

I am currently writing the third book in my Redcliffe novels paranormal romance series. Love Redeems (A Redcliffe Novel) concludes the story of how our protagonist Jessica Stone met and fell in love with a vampire, and subsequently discovered the truth about her friends and acquaintances in the fictional Cornish seaside town of Redcliffe. I originally only intended to write one book with this story, but it just sort of spiralled and took on a life of its own, so now here I…

I think about my daughter now. She is sweet and innocent. She loves her daddy. I am the man in her life.
Then I think about ten years from now (fifteen, if I get my way). She will most likely have a new man in her life. She will be thinking about romance and marriage.
That's what was on my mind as I wrote the latest volume of my Amish Journey. I will admit that I had to move away from the keyboard for a while. I couldn't see what I was typing through the tears. So, I…
