It shouldn't have taken a year to write but if you work for a living then writing has to play second fiddle to life's priorities. But still a year is ok.

It's a remarkable feeling to finally grasp the end of the story. To know that the story has a beginning, middle and an end. That the idea you started out with, might have…

I am a lucky girl.

Yesterday a new person joined my Facebook page because they love my Knights of Camelot series. It's a strange feeling that my words have whizzed all the way over to the US and touched someone enough to prompt them to take such action. I am so deeply touched by the effort and kindness. Marketing: Luck or Good Judgement

I’ve been pushing my book down various avenues in the last few months and overall been quite disappointed with the results. Everything in life is a learning curve and it does take a while to see what gets results and what doesn’t.

We are very excitied.  this will be our first time at the show.  We are anxious to present our company and our authors to a segemnt of the book market that has been hard to break in to, but are beginning to notice us.

It's a bit of a gamble.  We elected not to attend BEA (Book Expo America) this year in…

On Writing - An Understanding of What a Book Editor Does

This is the final leg of what has become an unintended trilogy on the book editing profession, and while it might appear to be blantantly self-promoting, I hope it at least will shed a little light on the book-doctoring discipline.

A Need for Definition

A few months ago I published an article I was asked to write that explained the different phases of book editing: critiques, copy/line editing, and developmental editing. I also provided a range…
