Your Love

Tears stain my peace whenever I have to endure the absence of your hugs...the shorter the distance between us my unhappy heart feel that feeling of love...your vocals of your wants and desires lift my being to an ultimate high...letting me know that you can hold my heart in your hands and I'll never have to cry....You instill happy thoughts of you and I...leaving me panting and waiting..yet pleasing my body and mind...Oh the thoughts go far and beyond the mental...waiting for the day...our… Continue

Burden of Blood Wenona Hulsey

Busy day, busy week, oh man,I have thought long and hard on what I want to try to say about this novel. Here is the thing, I am fortunate to read a lot of different stuff, not just in form but in genre. This novel just stands apart from anything I have read of late, what type of words should I use, how should I say it? Let’s get to the synopsis first and I can ponder it a bit more:

“No one wants to know everyone& their darkest secrets, especially not police officer, Nicole Keenan.…

The Stone Child Review

Here's a first, I'm reviewing another author's book. Normally, I am working hard to get a reviewer to read my books. Then there's the whole "raising four kids" thing. Rarely do I have time for leisure reading. I literally have a stack of books waiting for me.

So my oldest daughter came home from school (yes, several months ago) carrying a book with the most intriguing cover. It was … Continue

A Love That Multiplies: An Up-Close View of How They Make it Work by Michelle Duggar, Jim Bob Duggar

Do you watch the show? I am going to let you in on a few things here in this post: for one, I do. Usually I get to catch it on the DVR so I skip commercials. My wife and I do not have nearly the number of kids they do; we just have eight, but we share many similarities and I found for once that reading non-fiction is not a chore. Do I agree with everything in this book? No, it isn’t made to be that way. My wife read it also and I think the best thing to come from reading this book is the…

'Chuck's Unique Poetry e-book', Plus read some of my unique poems.

'Chuck's Unique Poetry' is an extensive assortment of over (130) poems and writes by Chuck Keyes. They cover a wide range of emotional subjects, including: Love, Passion, Sadness, Dark, Sci-fi, Mystery, Comedy, Political, Happiness, and Friendship. Unique and awesome is what they are! "Down Under Dead" Sylvia Massara The Author's Lab/Collaboration series

I don’t know if you can tell from the cover, but this isn’t set in Levittown or Trenton for that matter. The kangaroo should have given it away, and the sun is in the wrong place, thus the “Down Under” part. Sylvia Massara the main author in this installment is an Aussie, and still lives there; so we thought why not lets set it down there. To make it more interesting I brought in a Facebook friend of mine that is also an Australian resident to round things out. If you are looking for action,…

NEWSFLASH: Karen Anna Vogel to start a new series “The Amish Knitting Circle” with Trestle Press.

Trestle Press is proud to announce a new series by author Karen Anna Vogel: “The Amish Knitting Circle”. Here is the synopsis:

“Granny Byler is praying for five women in her Old Order Amish community in Smicksburg, PA., but nothing seems to be happening. Spinning wool one day she ponders the fact that fibers wrapped around each other make a yarn that’s hard to break.  Maybe the women she sees unraveling need to spun together so they don’t break.

So Granny starts a knitting…

Die, Lover ,Die Top Suspense Group

Included in the synopsis is a complete listing of the authors of the Top Suspense group.Take them all in they are some heavy hitters. The story itself and the experiment read like a good time, like the authors were enjoying themselves and totally in the zone as they ran off each other and tried to top one another with their prose and descriptive ability. I am a fan of many of the authors of this group and enjoyed trying to pick out what portions they may have written. My percentage of…

The Air Guy Angelique LaFontaine

The cover is simplistic for a reason; I really didn’t want to give much away with but, the fog does play a part in the story. That being said, Angelique Lafontaine’s writing style has grown on me. Her viewpoint is different; she finds a good way to twist things unexpectantly, and she seems to have fun with the story. I thoroughly enjoy that when it comes out in the story. The bang for the buck is here; don’t hesitate to download this story or any of her others: “The Matriarch”, and “Gone is…
