Websites

I decided to create a website to help market my stories for when they are in print. It was FREE to create the site with a company called Webnode. They have lots of templates and styles and you can adapt and tweak the site to your own preference.

My site is still in the early stages but up and running all the same. The only cost I incurred was the price of the domain name for 12 months it was £11.99 (approx $18). Yes there are companies out there that provide the domains a little…

Please Respond to this quote from "A Brownstone In Brooklyn"

I was asked to choose a quote from, A Brownstone in Brooklyn, to reflect on the unpredictable nature of life. How things are never the same and human beings have to adjust to life’s changing events. A Brownstone in Brooklyn is about growing up in the turbulent sixties, one of the most event filled decades in Black-American history.

A Brownstone in Brooklyn chronicles the…

At The Tournament, Part 1

Tournament pics 1 Last weekend, Easter weekend, I attended a tournament in Columbia, Missouri. In this week's blog, I'd like to share some of my thoughts about the experience.

This is the first of many blogs to come that go down a different path. I want to explore another area of my life, my martial arts background, a little more. I would like to explore the many aspects of martial arts, some of the life…

The Confusion of And vs. To

The Confusion of And vs. To

Here’s a question I received recently about the nuances of the English language.

Question: Which of the following is correct:

a. I would like to send Peter an email AND give him my regards.

b. I…

A little confused

A site for authors, here, sounds like a great idea, but there doesn't appear to be any dedicated place for authors to list their books. This seems very strange.

Prisoner Of Life (Demo)

                                                                          Chapter 1

I was an normal worker in the fields of Africa, feeling the hot sun burning my skin, but it was on that day when I lost something that cannot be regained, for I lost the only thing that kept me at bay, my family. As I watched the ashes on the face of my wife, and the blood of my two children sinking into the soil, I knew Ihad nothing to live for. I threw my self in my own invisible…

Lady Red

Chapter 1 Part One

It was a cold winter night. As blood dances onto of the ice, just like mice, with the cold hearted insight, no one would be safe tonight. For the blood links to the dress, with blood it will never end, for as long as she stays in this dress, blood will always fall to the end. The woman, who wares this dress, will never be in stress, she will always be in her dress, for the blood she seeks is in your chest. The woman's name should never be said, because if you do,…
